Who is Lan Cai He?
Lan Cai He is the fourth of the Eight Drunken Immortals who lived at the time of the Han Dynasty (700AD), Lan was a girl of 14 who achieved immortality by inadvertently eating a divine fruit that was the elixir of life.
In Taoist portraits, Lan Cai He is depicted as a young girl with a flower basket which contained flowers and divine fruits of eternal life. She wears only one shoe and goes barefoot for the other.
